A Kenyan female morgue attendant whose love for her job ended her relationship, has revealed how interesting it has been for her working with the dead.

26-year-old Alice Awuor Omito who started working as a morgue attendant in 2015 with Star Mortuary in Kisumu, currently works with Rosewood Funeral Home in Rongo, Migori County.

The gang members including two Nigerians Harry and Collins Olabode, were sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 9 June in relation to various drugs and firearms offences after a protracted investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Trident Central Gangs Unit.

The accused is charged with a three-count offence of conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretences and stealing.

He, however, denied the charge.

Police on Monday arrested three Chinese nationals in Thailand with 474 iPhones and nearly 350,000 SIM cards which they use to manipulate product information on WeChat.
 
Police officer Wassapan Sirikulkamonchat said in addition to the iPhones and SIM cards, police also found 21 SIM card readers and nine computers in the raid at their apartment.

Nurudeen Akintoye, has been arrested by Ogun State Police Command for allegedly raping a deaf and dumb girl‎. 

According the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the incident occurred on June 7, 2017 at about 9.45p.m when the suspect who resided in Ajura town community in Obafemi Owode LGA, lured the victim into a bush and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.

The prosecutor, Yakubu Audu, said the accused collected the money ostensibly to construct doors, burglar proof and other items but converted the money to his personal use.
