Tianjin have agreed personal terms with ‘two or three stars’ amid Diego Costa speculation

Chinese club drop major hint over Diego Costa transfer

The owner of Chinese club Tianjin has hinted at a deal for Chelsea forward Diego Costa by admitting the club have agreed personal terms with ‘two or three stars’.
Costa, 28, came close to joining the club in January but was convinced to stay at Stamford Bridge by Antonio Conte.

The Spaniard was dropped from the side’s squad to face Leicester City after the pair rowed over Costa’s wish to join the club, who have offered him an astronomical £350,000-a-week.
Reports this week claimed Costa’s representatives met with Tianjin officials in London last week to discuss a deal and the club’s owner has fueled speculation by admitting they’ve agreed personal terms with a number of new signings.

‘The only thing I can reveal right now is that we have agreed terms with two or three stars,’ Shu Yuhui told Tianjin Daily.
‘The only issue that remains unresolved is reaching agreements with their respective clubs over the transfer fees.’
