Mrs. Rachael Umahi, wife of Ebonyi State Governor has made known her hurt about a house-help that was scarred by her boss. Mrs Umahi declared on Wednesday that she would take legal actions against the woman, a policewoman, Mrs. Joy Okochi.

Speaking in Abakaliki through her Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Donatus Owo, the governor’s wife said she planned to intervene in the matter to ensure the victim gets justice.

A  primary school teacher was shot dead in full view of pupils on Monday.The woman, Kate Chiloane, 30, was shot by her husband who later shot himself at their home.

Man in the Business of Robbing Bank Customers on Bank Premises Nabbed

One Wilson Nnorom, a suspected member of a three-man gang that had been robbing bank customers after withdrawing cash on bank premises in Owerri, has been arrested by the police in Imo State.
According to Punch Metro, the 33-year-old Nnorom, a native of Ebenator-Ekwe in the Isu Local Government Area of the state, was arrested along MCC Road in Owerri, according to a police source.
