“ Prostitution is an industry on its own and most actresses part of it – Tony Frederick

Tony-Frederick

Tony Frederick is a hotshot actor who is definitely upbeat about some things in the movie industry. He shot into prominence in the film ‘License to Kill’ and has since had his profile bloated by juicy roles in blockbuster films. In a recent chat with Potpourri the handsome actor admits there are some actresses in Nollywood who are not too different from hookers.

When I asked him if true, there are prostitutes in Nollywood, he retorted “C’mon Ayo…it’ll be ridiculous for me to say it that way…because I don’t call those prostitutes actresses. They are simply prostitutes, sex traders who have infiltrated the industry and made it look like it’s a pre-requisite for becoming an actress. It’s pathetic my dear.. But I know a lot of decent actresses who are doing very well.” Continuing, he said, “ Prostitution is an industry on its own. I remember someone telling me that they’ve got registration…anyways it’s easy to discern that this or that lady doesn’t have it at all as regards creativity in front of the camera, you know, apart from the good looks and their general craze with public show of nudity. But of course by their fruits, they shall be known!…it’s pretty easy to discern them. We call them gate crashers.”
