Meet The Man Who Dismembered, Salted & Cooked His Parents ‘Like Barbecue Pork’

A Hong Kong man has been jailed for life for killing, dismembering, salting and cooking his parents.
The conviction of 31-year-old Henry Chau marks the end of a bizarre case that began in 2013 when the heads of his elderly mother and father were found stuffed into two refrigerators.
Members of the jury in the trial at the city’s high court heard how Chau dismembered his elderly parents before salting and cooking their body parts “like barbecued pork” and packing the flesh into lunchboxes with rice.

Police found other remains in a rubbish bin.
Passing sentence, Judge Michael Stuart-Moore described Chau as “narcissistic” and “preoccupied with fantasies for success”.
He said: “In practice, you have no feelings for other people”
Chau, who wore a loose-fitting grey suit, looked impassive as the double life sentence was passed down.
The judge also handed Chau an additional nine years and four months in jail for two separate charges of preventing the lawful burials of his parents, which he admitted earlier. The sentences will be served concurrently.
A friend who had been accused of involvement in the killings was found not guilty last Friday. Both defendants had pleaded not guilty to murder.
When they were first reported missing, Chau told police his parents had gone to mainland China, but later told a friend via a mobile messaging app that he had murdered them
Chau also called himself a “psychopath” in the messages and said he could not “empathise with people’s pain because of my experience from childhood and adolescence”.
The court had previously heard evidence of Chau’s claim that he planned to deceive the police in order to buy himself some time to say goodbye to friends.
