Chelsea are reportedly set to pay £39.4million to sign Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane after making him a ‘priority’ signing.
The Blues are looking at options for next season and with John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic getting on, attention has turned to the defence.
Real Madrid’s Varane is one of the best in the world, and reports in Spain say Chelsea have decided to make him a top target.
They are determined to do business, and a £39.4million offer will now apparently go in for his services.
Manchester United are also keen on the Frenchman, but the option to work under former boss Jose Mourinho could prove to difficult to turn down.
