World's sexiest criminal apologises as she faces jail time

A woman who was once dubbed the world’s sexist criminal, has shown those razor sharp looks have a softer side, by apologising for her law breaking ways.
Stéphanie Beaudoin, 21, was part way through a mammoth crime spree that saw her accused of a staggering 114 crimes before she was arrested earlier this year.

Sierra Leone doctor dies of Ebola at Us Hospital


A surgeon from Sierra Leone who was being treated for Ebola in the US died this morning November 17th in a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, aged 44.
Late Dr Martin Salia who had US residency and was married to an American, arrived for treatment in the state on Saturday November 15th in a critical condition after leaving Freetown by air ambulance.
    "We are extremely sorry to announce that the third patient we've cared for with the Ebola virus, Dr Martin Salia, has passed away as a result of the advanced symptoms of the disease." the Nebraska Medical Center said in a statement.

Niger state claims 1million names are missing from the Permanent Voters Card list


The APC, in a statement by its spokesman in Niger state, Jonathan Vatsa, said it discovered that the particulars of voters in seven wards of Shiroro, Gbako and other local government areas were missing and that the voters might not get their PVC. He also called for the removal or redeployment of the state's INEC commissioner.

A suspected car snatcher, Alhaji Kabiru Akorede, who was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, has said he could not count the number of stolen vehicles he sold to people. 

PUNCH Metro learnt that 42-year-old Akorede, who hails from Ilorin, Kwara State, was nabbed by operatives of the special Anti-Robbery Squad in his residence at NEPA Quarters, Isashi, Lagos.
