Zambia’s President Michael Sata Is Dead

Zambian President Michael Sata has died in London, where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness, the government said.
Roland Msiska, secretary to the Zambian cabinet, said in a statement on Wednesday that Sata died late on Tuesday in London, where he was being treated.

TB Joshua gets arrest warning

A coroner on Wednesday threatened popular Nigerian preacher TB Joshua with arrest if he failed to testify at an inquest into the deaths of 116 people at his church.
Oyetade Komolafe rejected arguments from Joshua’s lawyers that the televangelist should not be summoned because he did not directly witness the September 12 tragedy.
A total of 84 South Africans were among the dead when a guesthouse for foreign followers at Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) collapsed in Lagos.

The suspension of the entire executive of Gombi Local Government, Adamawa State, by the state government is an act of vindictiveness, some councillors have said.
Eight out of the ten councillors of the local government specifically accused Governor Bala Ngilari of being dictatorial and vindictive.
The councillors said the governor suspended them from office because they refused to be a willing tool in his hand for the removal of the chairman of the local government.

Nigeria’s Sports minister, Tammy Danagogo, has  revealed that former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, would be paid two months salary which he earned during the interim arrangement that saw Keshi’s management of the national team qualifying matches in the 2015 AFCON. The minister disclosed that Keshi will be paid  this week for his services.
SR Sports was the first to report (after speaking to an NFF insider) that there was an agreement with sports minister that he’ll be paid for the periods he will be in charge.

He was once rumoured to have dated Mosun Filani, who was also linked with fellow actor, Muyiwa Ademola. It was then reported that the alleged affair between Muyiwa and Mosun had threatened the former’s marriage.

In a new interview with Encomium mag, Wizkid said he doesn’t care if people think he is arrogant, that he doesn’t love everybody and so doesn’t expect everybody to love him.
Asked if it bothers him that people think he’s arrogant, Wizkid said;
“Bother me? Never! I am not bothered. Honestly I don’t hear people saying it because anytime I go out, I show my fans great love. I do my thing. I don’t have problem with that because I don’t love everybody as well. So I don’t expect everybody to love me too. That’s life”
