Chelsea have already set aside £60m to sign Ronaldo

Chelsea have made it clear that they want to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in January and have already set aside £60million to make the deal happen.
Ronaldo is looking increasingly likely to depart Madrid in the new year with his agent ready to take him away from the Spanish giants – after falling out with them during a row over transfers.

Federal Government may have concluded plans to ban sale and widespread consumption of hides and skins(Ponmo)which is a delicacy to most Nigerians.
This indication emerged Tuesday  when the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina called for competent regulations that would check the consumption and sale of the product.

He said this at the 3rd joint anniversary of Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) and Nigeria Institute of Animal Science held at the University of Ibadan.
If this is achieved, he noted that livestock farmers would stand good chances of making high dollar return if the hides and skins are tanned into leather.

British Ebola survivor to return to Sierra Leone

William Pooley has hinted he could return to Sierra Leone where he contracted the virus to help fight the outbreak

The first Briton to be infected with the deadly Ebola virus has revealed he is going back to Sierra Leone to try and help with the struggle to control the disease.
William Pooley, a British nurse, survived Ebola after he was evacuated to Britain from Sierra Leone in an RAF fighter jet and successfully treated with the experimental drug ZMapp.
Despite initially assuring his parents he would not return, the 29-year-old has revealed he plans to go back to Sierra Leone, where hundreds of people have died from Ebola. He has called on David Cameron to do more to ensure an international effort is being made to get the epidemic in Africa under control.

Following the revelation by an Australian Negotiator, Dr. Stephen Davies, names of other alleged Boko Haram sponsors have emerged.
The latest said is the Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima.
A magazine, “power Steering” which is being circulated, alleged that Governor Shettima is behind the killing of late Alhaji Awana Ngala, former ANPP chairman in Borno State, who was tipped to succeed former governor Ali Modu Sheriff as well as Engr. Modu Fannami Gubio, the gubernatorial candidate of the ANPP, who was killed barely one week after he was appointed to succeed Modu Sheriff in the 2011 general election.
