Lampard’s shirt has been vacant for just a couple of months but Chelsea today announced Brazilian international Oscar would move from the no.11 shirt to take the no.8 for the new campaign.

A woman has been caught smuggling 1.7kg of cocaine in her breast implants.

The 48-year-old Venezuelan woman was pulled aside by Spanish customs officials in Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez Airport.

She had arrived in the country on a flight from Columbia’s capital, Bogotá, and was picked out by customs officers because she was acting in a nervous manner.

Liverpool are ‘hours away’ from completing the signing of former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song from Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

According to the respected Catalan newspaper Sport, the Reds have made an offer for Song, who has been told he can leave Barca this summer.

Wenger hints at more new signings

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted he may not yet be finished in the summer transfer market.
