The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two bankers for allegedly stealing the sum of N661,000,000 (six hundred and sixty one million Naira) from their employers.

Queen of talking drums, Ara, in a recent interview said if at all she has any regrets in her 39 years of living, it would be that she’s no longer a virgin. She however said she looks beyond the regret because she lost it while still married to her now estranged husband and the father of her son, Saliu Olalekan, whom she later found out was still legally married with kids after tying the knot with her at an elaborate wedding ceremony in June 2009.

Port Harcourt LGA Chairman slumps, dies


Tragedy this morning struck in the Rivers State capital Port Harcourt following the sudden death of the Chairman of Port Harcourt Local Government Area (PHALGA), Hon. Charles Paul Ejekwu.
“He died after attending a political meeting that lasted till this morning,” a reliable source in Port Harcourt told News Express. “He slumped and died shortly thereafter,” the source added.

Enugu Deputy Governor slumps in court

The Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi has slumped in court.
He was rushed out of the court hall at about 11.38 am by his wife, Mrs. Nneka Ada Onyebuchi, his children and some of his aides present for medical attention.
The Deputy Governor had arrived the court in company of his lawyers Wednesday morning and began his evidence at 9.30 am but three hours five minutes later, he reportedly collapsed and his wife and others present rushed forward to rescue him.
