Fulani herdsmen confess to membership of Boko Haram

It has emerged that groups of alleged herdsmen or gangs operating in the middle belt states of Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba and even those that recently killed scores of people in Zamfara state, are Boko Haram sect members.

Worse still, government officials in the North East states of Yobe, Borno and Adamawa collaborate with the terrorists and take bribes from them, thereby, hindering the fight against the terrorists. Governors of these states also capitalise on their civilian fears to berate the army and the federal government.

A popular clairvoyant in Adamawa State, Alhaji Alhassan Mohammed Goni, a.k.a. AMG, has threatened to expose the sponsors of Boko Haram insurgency if the group does not suspend the current bloodletting and hostilities in the country within two weeks.
The spiritualist expressed sympathy for President Goodluck Jonathan, saying the president is a good man and those that are targeting his administration will fail woefully.
He said having been disturbed by the bloodletting and seemingly inexorable hostilities by the group, he deemed it fit to come forward, and warned that if those behind Boko Haram fail to change their ways, he will soon expose them.

A desperate Moroccan father, Ayham Kanaan, has been arrested by Spanish custom officers after he was allegedly found hiding his 8-year-old daughter, Haniya Kanaan, in a suitcase.
According to police reports, Ayham, 38, was caught trying to smuggle his daughter into Spain so that she can stay in the country.

A suspected ritual killer who specialises in selling human parts has been arrested by security operatives in Benin City, the Edo State capital, southern Nigeria.
The man, whose identity is yet to be revealed, was allegedly arrested at the Upper Sokponba road area of Benin with cut to size gun, different human parts and N4 million cash.

Young Nigeriens at the border town of Nigeria and Niger Republic, Diffa, have confessed to be recruits of the Islamist militant group, Boko Haram.
A member of a gang in Niger told the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that Boko Haram Islamist militants from Nigeria “regularly come across the border, looking for recruits.”
